On Friday, 500 intubation shields built by @firstbuild and GEA engineers were sent to @GovAndyBeshear and #TeamKentucky to be distributed to hospitals statewide. Thanks to everyone on the frontlines working to keep us safe during these tough times.

This week we joined our local union in delivering face shields to @ridetarc. Manufactured in the 3D printing labs at GEA and @firstbuild, we’re honored to make and donate PPE that helps keep the TARC drivers who are moving our community safe.

Makers with a home 3D printer can help produce headbands from the @Prusa3D designed template👇👇. When finished, drop headbands inside the box (outside of) FirstBuild at 333 E. Brandeis Ave. We’ll process with @uofl and distribute to healthcare workers all over the region.
Created based on the community feedback - the US version of the Prusa Protective Face Shield RC3 is out!
The design was adjusted to fit:
American size sheet - 11x8,5 inches
American triple hole punch - distance 4 1/4", hole radius 1/4"
