The problem of overcrowding in A&E is not "too many people in a small country". It's the opposite.
The vast majority of people who were in the corridor waiting for beds were elderly British people who have paid their taxes all their life and deserved better.
Bur 75% of the staff who were on - trying to manage the awful situation were the immigrants that many have blamed for the problems in our society.
They are part of the solution and NOT the problem. The crisis would be so so so so much worse if it was not for immigration.
I for one and so grateful for all the skills and efforts of the immigrants who I work with, in the NHS.
