At 8:30am it still looks like twilight. The orange sky is full of smoke. We can’t see the sun. The power is getting shut down to prevent more fires. People are hiding in their homes, or if they do go out, wearing masks to protect themselves from smoke and plague. Hello, Dystopia.

FWIW, I didn’t know the OK hand sign had become a co-opted symbol of white supremacy until today, and I assume there are plenty of other people who did/do not know either. So when people use the OK sign, I’m going to assume they mean OK, because I assume good intent.
