I'm sorry. Basketball is an absurd sport that favors genetic freakshows moreso than work rate and skill. Even "short" guys like 6'2" Steph Curry have to be outlandishly good to compete with this. It's ridiculous and shameful.

I agree with @lightclients. If we can't ship AA in Hegota, I will begin to doubt Ethereum's ability to tackle hard problems going forward.

1/3 With every hardfork upgrade, we should ask only two things:
1. Do we need to do X?
2. Does EIP-X fully and completely solve X?
If yes to both, do it. If not, don't. This doesn't seem complicated to me.

3/3 Listened to ACDE today... as an outsider, the system seems set up to favor half-measure compromises that don't solve the whole problem and
(a) create local maxima, siphoning political will for the big fix that will still be needed
(b) create actual 1s and 0s tech debt

Addendum: The question for EIP-8141 is actually much more cut and dry than most questions. "Do we need to do AA?" is a settled "yes". And the resources and opportunity window are there.
The only outstanding question is: "Does 8141 solve AA?" which I'm not qualified to answer.

To be specific, your interface gives a choice:
"Enter 1099-DA" vs "Enter 8949"
If you click on "Enter 8949" it says "Ok, let's enter your 1099-DA!" And then there is no 8949 entry at all. Anywhere.

Time and time again, I've felt lazy not learning some new tech, thinking "I'm not sure what X is, but I guess I'll learn it when I need it." And then it drifts into obsolescence before I ever do. i.e. It's good instincts, not laziness.

Not long ago, A-listers wouldn't be caught dead doing non-Super Bowl TV commercials. Folks like Schwarzenegger would do voiceovers in Japan (et al) but never USA and never live action. Times have significantly changed.

Has it honestly never dawned on the EF that OGs might help/contribute more if they didn't treat us like yesterdays dogshit? EF has a serious respect problem.

They've rejected all my speaking apps, favoring low-value talks like "My mental health journey in crypto" instead of "Here's the story of how NFTs were invented".
Recently, they said they'd likely retweet a high-value thread on NFT history from a legit historian... then reneged.

It's just really frustrating and sad. Instead of lifting up the early contributions and work of OGs, they, instead, just jump on the bandwagon of whatever's currently popular and favor "in crowd" people for speaking slots. It's a fucking popularity contest.
