Hi all, We have a pastoral vacancy. Our Year 7 Lead, Mrs Johnson, has decided to leave The Academy. Duties include: being onsite 19 hours a day, teaching a full timetable, never going to the toilet and never eating lunch. It’s Year 7 so it’ll be fairly easy. TLR 2c Thanks x

Hi kids .. #HandmaidsTale (the book not the series!) has just been banned in #Edmonton…don’t read it, your hair will catch on fire! Get one now before they have public book burnings of it.

Hi all, From September there’ll be a new spreadsheet to complete for Pupil Progress. The columns are headed: Fully Understood, Check Knowledge, On target, and Feeding Forward. It’s a great initiative but we haven’t thought of a name for it yet. Thanks x

ā˜•A Ā£5 iced-latte? Or gift book packs to 3 pre-school children living in women's refuge centres. Books help overcome disadvantage and nurture a life-long love of reading, but for many they're a luxury families can't afford. Spread joy this Summer with a monthly gift.šŸ’«

I am the proudest mum. What an outstanding report! Also hugely appreciative of the huge amount of time and effort the teachers take to create them.

As an English teacher this blows my mind. How are they supposed to differentiate between /k/ /ʃ/ and /tʃ/ sounds?

Tonight is the first night of Passover. Most religions use foods in a symbolic way and the Passover meal - the Seder - is a meal like no other with foods which are only eaten once a year. The Last Supper is believed to have been a Passover meal (which is why Easter follows Passover/ Pesach and why it’s of interest to Christians even if Jesus had a different sort of Passover meal). I’ve done a little thread for those who are interested šŸ‘‡šŸ¼šŸ§µ
