Basically the playbook for every good company that IPO.
- Quick pump after listing
- Dump sharply
- Consolidate for months
- Go up into ATH
The reason is, no matter how good the company is, VCs, angels, and early employees all want to (rightfully) take profit after carrying the investment risk for years.
There is also the banks doing the IPO that usually hold shares for their clients that they got with a good discount.
In that regard, an IPO is a liquidity event for the early investors, and retail investors usually don't have the buying power to counter that, hence the drop, which is just a distribution from early investors to retails.
When they run out of stocks to sell and / or retails have panic sold as well, this is when smart investors will buy, forming this consolidation pattern.
This is your opportunity.

Lee Kuan Yew abolished trial by jury in Singapore after determining that it was too easy for defence lawyers to appeal to racial and religious biases of juries in multicultural Singapore.
He writes in his memoirs how as a young lawyer he was able to get three clients acquitted who he was sure did commit murder. LKY writes that he "worked on the weaknesses of the jury -- their biases, their prejudices, their reluctance really to find four Muslims guilty of killing in cold blood or in a heat of great passion, religious passion, an RAF officer, his wife and child."
He writes "The judge was thoroughly disgusted. I went home feeling quite sick because I knew I'd discharged my duty as required of me, but I knew I had done wrong.β

Once other countries see how efficient itβs going to be, more will follow.
I predict that emerging countries will adopt this due to efficiency and costs, while western countries will be stuck debating if this is ethical and never do anything.
