I've had this opinion now for a while. For too many people in the NHS its all about the income, not the outcome. The care is secondary after their wage slips.
There was this lad at the pharmacy yesterday who was sent there after ringing 111. The pharmacist had a brief word with him and sent him away and told him to see his GP. No offer of something for the itch, irritation, the dryness, and the obvious raised area on both of his calves, not even for the pain whilst he waits for an appointment, if he even gets one. I couldn’t believe it, the care in healthcare is dead.
