Dear
@Calileo Community,
After much reflection, I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from the project. Despite our team’s dedication and the innovative strides we’ve made—such as securing 2nd place at the
@CodeMultiversX Hackathon and developing features like crypto tipping, on-chain content creation, and data NFTs—the project has not achieved the profitability we aimed for, and we were unable to secure the necessary funding.
I had hoped to find someone to continue my vision before writing to you, but I believe it’s time to break the silence, even though I’m still actively looking to pass the torch to someone who shares our passion for
@MultiversX and crypto freedom.
Starting alone, I brought together a talented team to build a Web3 social platform with groundbreaking features. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without our dedicated team and supportive community. And I would like to thank you all.
I’ve lost the passion and strength to continue. This will be my last crypto entrepreneurial endeavor for the foreseeable future. While I remain committed to supporting other projects with powerful visions, leading a project in the current crypto landscape has proven more challenging than anticipated.
The current crypto landscape, dominated by memecoins and speculative investments, has shifted my perspective. I no longer recognize the space I once believed in.
I’m grateful for the journey and the opportunities I’ve had. Some may understand, others may not be happy, and that’s okay. This decision is what’s best for my health moving forward.
I am actively seeking someone who shares our vision to take over Calileo and propel MultiversX and crypto freedom forward. The project still holds immense potential to disrupt the social media landscape.
I hope the MultiversX community and my relatives understand this choice. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s what’s best for me. I love creating, so I won’t stop here, but perhaps I’ll focus on something simpler and less intense than crypto and Web3. We’re still early, that’s for sure.
To all builders out there: don’t give up. Try new things, and if they don’t work, do your best. If you can’t sustain the work and passion anymore, that’s okay. Your health and well-being matter more than you think.
Thank you all, and sorry this hasn’t gone the way we all wanted. Our channels—X, Discord, and Telegram—will remain open until I find the right person to take over Calileo.
Calileo is NOT dead. It’s awaiting better leadership.
Love you all, peace out 🙌
