The Bishop self-propelled gun fitted a 25-pounder to the hull of a Valentine II. A large turret was needed to hold the gun, which limited its elevation and range. This saw it quickly replaced by the Sexton. For more on the Bishop’s replacements, see here: youtu.be/kCf-sMkd4ks

Fact of the Day: All Spitfires were painted as a Mesherscmitt BF109s during the #BattleOfBritain so that baddie planes didn't know which planes to shoot at.
