The OoT websites from back in the day are true time capsules. Back then, "zelda 64" was the dominant term, with Nintendo's official website even being called zelda64.

Finishing Majora’s Mask again recently had me fucked up… Knowing Link’s never gonna see the lasting impact he had on Termina, separated from the one person he could call a real friend once again. ☹️
Do people really not think a massive part of the hero of Time’s character was loneliness? He went through hell, had to forget every bond he made on his adventure and was sent back to his childhood, and immediately after lost the only living being that experienced it all with him.

I've always liked Link and Malon, but It also showed me that not EVERY Link needs a romantic subplot with EVERY Zelda.
I think it's far more beautiful that while Link and Zelda are indeed eternally connected, that doesn't always mean they're meant for each other.

I’m still very much of the opinion that TotK has the worst plot out of all the mainline games. And I LOVED BotW, so I’m not just some blind Wild era hater.

It’s not like Link even got better at sword fighting or anything cause for some reason they didn’t add to the base combat system aside fusing… but it’s not like he can do that anymore. I guess he’s closer to Zelda? Ganondorf is no longer a threat? Rather underwhelming.

One of the best moments in OoT imo is when you see Saria again as an adult but she's still a child, and it really sinks in that Link's childhood is over and he's become permanently estranged from the only family he ever knew
