FloatingActionButtons are FABulous (sorry, couldn't resist) but it gets even better: Flutter makes it easy to embed them in the bottom navigation bar. Use FloatingActionButtonLocation & you can embed the button right where you want it.

Flutter has powerful animation features, but you won't need them for simple transitions. Use the the FadeTransition widget instead! It lets you fade a widget in and out, and is easy to set up in your app.

Removing a widget is easy, but what if you need it to disappear but still take up space? Use Opacity! Wrap a widget with Opacity, set it to zero, and you're set. Try AnimatedOpacity if you want to animate the change!!
