St Alban's Half Marathon completed, and a free can of lukewarm Red Bull at the finish. Lovely, now for a shower and then some tennis (watching, definitely not participating!) #icelollyrun

#nowwatching The Cannonball Run (1981). Wish I hadn't. ⭐

Been playing with Claude Fable 5 and Three JS and managed to get it to produce a fun playable multi-track top-down racer, and a lame awful 3D racer. Total cost about $9.

Why is every other tweet today an Ad from dozens of different accounts, all illustrated with fake AI images of Nigel Farage having a fight on Question Time?! Wtf is this nonsense?

My Nest thermostat is set to Off. It has been set to Off for over a month, maybe two. So why on one day last week does it suddenly decide to turn the radiators on at 5am!?

Joined an amazing tour of @RoyalAlbertHall this afternoon, highlight of which was the pleasure of sitting in a short section of rehearsals for something called Prom Praise. Which I am now watching on YouTube, as you do! sat7uk.org/pages/prom-praise…

Amazon customer service is getting worse. Are you a human? "Yes". This item you sent was used, and parts were missing in the box. "The item says it was delivered, have you checked your safe place or with your neighbors" πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

#nowwatching Better Off Dead (1985). John Cusack is fantastic (even if he didn't like the film), Diane Franklin is lovely, and the film is absurd, surreal and hilarious in equal measure - and reeks of 80's stereotypes ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Apparently I live in the racist part of Milton Keynes. If you're my neighbour and voted Reform, please announce yourself (a flag outside will do) so I know who to blame when we run out of money, potholes don't get filled, libraries are closed, poo bins overflow etc. Cheers.

So, the great British public has decided that Britain should be run by a gang of dishonest, racist, faux-Nazis. People of good conscience will all be disgusted with the rise of Reform, especially after their toll of odious members being identified as dishonest grifters or racists. A significant number of their rising stars are Tory rejects, many of whom were in part responsible for the disastrous 14 years of Tory rule that ended only two years ago. We may now look forward to an Enoch Powell Britain, a country without decency, compassion, or the common sense to see how we are being gulled by a rabble of self-interested conmen and their backers. They will suck the blood of the common man and reverse all the many gains we have made over many decades in human rights, protection for the disabled, the elderly, the homeless, and the other marginalised people who need society's support, not to mention the additional havoc they will let loose on the NHS. We can only hope that the electorate will have come to its senses before the General Election. In the meantime, if you think you've tightened your belts up until now at a local level, you've not seen anything yet. MIRROR NEWS I just checked the results for Colchester mirror.co.uk/news/politics/l… #councilLocalElections2026 #colchester

Watching the local council results come in, what the actual fuck is wrong with people in this country? Like turkeys voting for Christmas.

A reminder that the World Snooker Championship final in 1952 was 143 frames, with Horace Lindrum beating Clark McConachy 94–49 over 13 days.. And they were duty bound to play every frame, too, even though it was long won when Lindrum reached 72.

Fantastic watching all the amazing runners in the MK Marathon and Half Marathon today. Great event, well marshalled, well supported, wonderful to see those happy faces at the finish line! Naughty step for their website provider for failing to ensure enough bandwidth today tho!

I can't remember the last time I saw a small bird around here. I live in the middle of a city, should there be this many Red Kites over our gardens? Seems this is a success story gone too far, absolutely becoming a menace
