built a linkedin agent with hermes. most people think linkedin automation is dead. they're wrong. it's just that everything on the market sucks.

he gap isn't more automation. it's an agent that: — finds the right people — thinks about each conversation — checks before acting — learns from what works — does it across multiple profiles

Really check: Chinese models will take a few months, maybe a year to catch up, but eventually they will and they won't care about the seat-belt. This "seatbelt" is the wrong answer, everyone will have access to affordable ultra powerful AI models.

I spent $1,000 on Claude Fable 5 (Mythos with a seat-belt) and here are my thoughts...

Hermes is the most underrated tool in 2026. I cancelled my Claude subscription this week. Not because it's bad. Because Hermes does things Claude refuses to do, without asking for 150 approvals first. This morning I had 948 buying signals waiting for me. Pulled in 12 minutes. Every single day. Automatically. → 376 companies that just raised funding → 184 actively hiring right now → 141 decision-makers who just changed jobs → 111 acquisitions in motion Everyone's vibecoding their next SaaS wrapper. That's the wrong bet. The new play is agentic infrastructure you actually own. Your model. Your server. Your terms. Without subscriptions, price per-seat pricing. or platform telling you what you can't do. Results drop directly where you work. Here's what nobody talks about with signals: Timing and offer is the only variables that matters in outbound. Wrong timing kills perfect copy every time. Right timing makes average copy print money. 948 companies in motion today. That's 948 conversations I can start with full contex, funding round, headcount shift, leadership change, acquisition. Before they've heard from anyone else. The agentic play everyone's sleeping on.

We’ve all been enjoying Hermes Agent’s incredible power mostly for free. At some point, we need to support @NousResearch.

I gave Hermes Agent 12 LinkedIn skills and my buying-signal data. It spent 48 hours watching. Then it started conversations with 11 people who were about to buy from someone. Here's what most founders get wrong about LinkedIn outreach. You're chasing cold leads while people with actual buying intent scroll right past you. Someone just got promoted. Another closed funding. A third is actively commenting on your competitor's posts. Those are buying signals. Not "maybe later" leads. I fed Hermes everything. Job changes. Funding announcements. Who's engaging with competitors. It ranks them by who's most likely to convert. Then it does what I used to spend 6 hours a day doing: → Researches each prospect → Writes a personalized opener that references the exact trigger event (not some template garbage) → Runs a 5-touch sequence over 21 days with safety limits so LinkedIn doesn't flag you → Writes hooks and posts that pull warm leads in before you ever DM them → Optimizes your profile so the traffic you're driving actually converts The automation layer runs 24/7. While you're sleeping, it's monitoring signals and starting conversations. Here's what changed: I don't hunt for leads anymore. The system surfaces who's ready to buy. I don't write cold openers. Hermes references the trigger and makes it feel human. I don't worry about getting flagged. The guardrails are built in. Your profile becomes a landing page. Your content becomes a lead magnet. Your outreach becomes a timing play. Comment "HERMES" and I'll send you the full breakdown of how we built this. P.S. This works because it solves the only problem that matters: you're talking to the wrong people at the wrong time. Fix that, everything else is easy.

I replaced my $80K SDR with an AI agent that books more qualified meetings. Most founders are burning 20 hours a week on outbound that converts at 2%. They're manually researching prospects. Sending generic templates. Chasing unqualified replies. Wondering why nobody responds. After building 40 automation workflows for B2B companies, I created a Fractional SDR using Hermes Agent that handles the entire outbound motion without sounding like a bot. Here's what it does: → Signal Hunter tracks 30 buying signals across LinkedIn and the open web so you only reach out when prospects are actually in-market → Lead Scorer ranks every prospect on intent strength, recency, and ICP fit before a single email goes out → Personalization Writer turns each buying signal into an opener that doesn't feel like outbound (no more "I saw you posted...") → Sequence Builder writes the 4-6 touch email cadence with pause rules baked in → Reply Classifier sorts 12 inbound reply types and drafts the response so your inbox doesn't become a graveyard → LinkedIn DM Operator handles connection-to-conversation cadences without getting your account flagged → Meeting Qualifier only books calls when intent is actually confirmed Over 200 founders have already implemented this framework. Save this post so you don't lose it. Comment "HERMES" and I'll send you the complete build breakdown. ♻️ Repost to help founders skip the $80K/year SDR hire P.S. I'm including the exact prompt library I use for each agent module (saves you 15 hours of testing)
