There's this one doctor on insta (I won't name her) who's from a very rich family, studied at one of the most prestigious private med schools in Pakistan, went to the US and matched etc, yet still acts like she's poor... I'll never understand why visibly rich ppl cosplay as poor.

Haven't felt as bad as i do whenever i hear there are doctors in Pakistan who are doing unpaid interships and PGs with unpaid residency. How cruel you have to be to make someone work on 30 hour calls for years and not even pay them. No one deserves this.

A tragic incident occurred in Chakwal, Pakistan, where a nine-year-old girl, Hania Ahmed, was killed and her father, Adeel Ahmed, and brother, Aafan Ahmed, were injured after personnel from the CCD mistakenly opened fire on their car.
Adeel Ahmed, a 39-year-old Australian national originally from Dhudial village, had recently arrived in Pakistan with his wife, Dr. Sidra Khan, and their two children. After performing Hajj and returning from Saudi Arabia on Wednesday morning, the family attended a dinner hosted by Adeel's father-in-law.
Later that night, around 11:40 p.m., the family stopped their rented car outside the home of a relative, Ali Ejaz, whose house is next to the CCD station. According to Ejaz, two armed robbers on a motorcycle approached the vehicle. One robber pointed a pistol at the family and demanded jewellery and cash.
The report states that CCD officials apparently mistook the family's car for that of criminals and opened fire, resulting in the death of Hania and injuries to her father and brother. Authorities are investigating the incident.
