Sparking Zero has more than enough potential to achieve the same longevity as Xenoverse 2. Annual DLC expansions could sustain the game for years, as there is still a wealth of characters, stages, and costumes left to explore, while the community demand remains as strong as ever.

I think it's totally typical of them to do something like this; there are a lot of Bandai games that are literally IDENTICAL to the second title, but with a slight visual overhaul and other changes.

Fun fact: I designed Ditto evo this way because of Mew's ability to create copies of itself, which appears a few times in the anime and movies. The idea was for it to be a "slightly better clone" this time around.
