Emergency response officials at Fort Hood will conduct their annual full-scale exercise from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 5-6 at various locations across the installation.
Additional focus areas include medical response, religious support, and family assistance.
Traffic disruptions are expected to be minimal, though short delays may occur near exercise sites due to temporary traffic control measures.
Be advised the Fort Hood military phone system is still experiencing technical issues, including failed call attempts from military desk phones.
Users may encounter problems dialing the 254-287-CARE (2273) hotline, which is used to report incidents of spouse and child abuse.
