Wow. I'm literally stunned. Apple just doubled down on their rejection of HEY's ability to provide bug fixes and new features, unless we submit to their outrageous demand of 15-30% of our revenue. Even worse: We're told that unless we comply, they'll REMOVE THE APP.

You know what would be awesome? @factoriogame on the web: Simulation is outsourced to the server, more people per map simultaneously and everything runs in the browser. Should be possible with Wasm, Canvas and Workers nowadays.

Would you like to be in control of how long sites are permitted to access your location, microphone, clipboard, etc.? I’m working on this idea and hope to post an explainer that goes into more detail later this week: discourse.wicg.io/t/time-lim… Comments appreciated.

Chrome's privacy and web platform security teams are hiring in Munich, Germany. There's a (very) generic job posting at careers.google.com/jobs/resu…, but I would be thrilled to chat more specifically with anyone about the work I'm hoping to get done. DMs are open!
