Two(ish) years ago, @heyjudetaylor wrote a song called Upstairs at the Trocadero for a LGBTQ history month event I curated. We felt there was a bigger story to tell after he discovered such a rich history of space and people in 1930s London.

Managed to catch the Billy Elliot matinee at @CurveLeicester yesterday. The cast and band were wonderful! A joyous production of a show that never fails to entertain in one moment and then break your heart in another!

Just a reminder that the issue isn't "Nobody is writing original musicals anymore." There are plenty of original musicals being written. The issue is that very few of them are produced.
