First 3 months as CEO of Rapha and my first ever Festive 500. Thanks to @vincentpope for completing it with me - a mammoth undertaking when you have 3 kids and a couple of weeks notice! It was a cool thing to do with your best mate - albeit there were more than a few “why are we doing this” moments…. And then, like always, when it’s done you know why you did it. Huge well done to the hundreds of thousands of people who managed to complete it this year and Happy New Year. I get a feeling 2025 is going to be a cracker - let’s go 🤘

Returning home from Mallorca after 10 days riding and clearing my head in advance of starting the biggest challenge of my career: CEO of @rapha It is a role I feel like I’ve spent my entire career preparing for and I feel deeply privileged to have the opportunity to lead a brand I have respected and admired since its inception. I start on 16/09/24 - the week the brand will be celebrating its 20th anniversary. Here’s to the next 20 years I guess 🤗🤘#PastForward

Ouf. So proud of @millarmind 💫💪
The past year has seen me have a renaissance, in the truest sense… I won’t go into details now but will at some point before long. What has brought so much happiness to my life and those around me this past year has been my falling back in love with sport. Cycling has, and always will be, my number one. Yet I’d forgotten that I simply love sport, not for results but for the sheer joy of doing it, I’d completely forgotten that the health of my mind is intrinsically connected to the health of my body. I’ve rediscovered the love I had for sport that existed before the world of professional cycling took over in the way it did. I’ve been pushing myself and trying new things this past year, indifferent to the results, just out having fun and at times going deeper than I thought I was capable of anymore. Last week I got on a TT bike for the first time in a decade, @FactorBikes built me a bike, I’ve been looking at it for two years and decided it was time to get fitted, getting back on it felt like going home. Anyway, the long and the short of this is that it’s inspired me to create a club to inspire and be inspired. A community for us to share our love for getting out there and doing it, because I’ve realized that although I spend most of my sporting life on my own I derive the most pleasure when feeling part of something. It’s in its early days, I’ve called it Sporting Club CHPT3 aka SCC3, I’d love you to check it out and join. It’s still in its infancy, but I hope it’s going to grow into something that will inspire you as much as me. chpt3.com/pages/sporting-clu…

Such a joy to spend 30mins chatting to one of my all time favourite Knights of the Realm about cycling, Winning Behaviours, 1:59 and Belstaff. Thank you for asking me Michael ☺️
New episode of the Accomplishment Podcast is out today! I am joined by the brilliant @franmillar to discuss her career and the lessons she has learnt in taking accomplishment in sport to accomplishment in business. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas…

So @monzo I have now been emailing you for 6 days. Have supplied all the information requested and keep getting automated responses - tried calling - 2 hours on hold then cut off. Have no access to my account or the money in it. What am I supposed to do??

They win. Don’t even care it’s practically the same kit. Not a single care over here.

You’re never too busy to show kindness to a child. When this preschooler showed up for a race (on his pedal-less strider bike) at the local BMX park, his family discovered that he was the only one in his age group to attend. A group of teenagers there to compete in their own age bracket provided some “competition.” And, would you believe it… the little guy won. Be like these kids. Such goodness on display. 3 years of change feels very real now. Our beautiful Regent Street store refit, a bold, brilliant interpretation of a modern garage. Our incredible team have, as always, totally smashed it. Open from today 💫

One of my favourite EVER stage wins 💙 🫶🏻 @millarmind
It's the Cantabrian coast and Asturian mountains for La Vuelta today with San Vicente de la Barquera and La Hermida the highlights; Torrelevega sits 20kms into the stage - David Millar won a stage there in 2001...

Aaron was already, in my humble opinion, a genius. This takes him to a whole new level.
Aaron won the pod today. ⁦@neverstraysfar
