Jae Kwon tweeted about a mediation offer I didn't receive on 4/3. I received an offer by email on 4/5, and a physical letter on 4/6. Communicating through my attorneys, we asked AiB to drop the lawsuit to demonstrate good faith. It's unheard of to serve a person papers and offer mediation 48 hrs removed. Should we fail to reach a mutually agreeable outcome, Jae can refile the lawsuit. Happens all the time. However, he refuses to withdraw the suit. My attorneys and I are of the opinion that the mediation offer is an offer for the community -- to achieve some PR points as they're getting hammered over socials. Sadly, the mediation offer isn't for me. If it were real, he'd withdraw the suit. Keep it simple. Keep it real. #dropthelawsuit and we talk.
