After 13 yrs of programming, I attended my very first Ruby conference,
@friendlyrb! It was amazing and long overdue. I should have gone to a Ruby/Rails conference sooner. I guess better late than never 😅
Meeting people from
@X in person was great. Already talking in this online space over the years, I feel like I've found the people that inspire me and look up to in terms of business, programming, living a healthy life, etc. But meeting and talking to them IRL is 10x better.
The conference had, ofc, a friendly vibe, with just the right crowd size. Attended insightful talks, learned to brew my own V60 coffee from
@lucianghinda, learned about growing businesses, got valuable feedback for my products, 1st sale on my new OG image generator app and presented it during the elevator pitch round! 🎉 And I feel this is just the tip of the iceberg from the 2 packed days at Friendly.rb as SO much more happened.
Thanks to Adrian, Lucian, Stefan, Jakob, and team for organizing the third Ruby conference in Bucharest, RO 🇷🇴, and to all speakers and attendees for contributing to this amazing community ❤️
Many more conferences to come from now on! Next stop: 🌉 SF Ruby in November 19-21 (just bought my ticket)
