THE HARVEST IS PLENTIFUL “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few.” (Matthew 9:37) Notice what Jesus did not say. He did not say the seeds were plentiful. He did not say the fields were plentiful. He did not say the soil was ready. He said the harvest was plentiful. A harvest is not the beginning of a process; it is the result of one. Seeds have already been planted. Rain has already fallen. Roots have already grown. Life has already emerged. Today, Jesus reveals a profound truth that - God is already at work long before we arrive. The Holy Spirit is already moving in hearts. There are people who do not come to church but secretly long for meaning. There are people who appear indifferent to God but carry deep questions only He can answer. There are people searching for forgiveness, healing, peace, purpose, and hope. The harvest is plentiful because grace is already at work. Too often we approach evangelisation as though we are bringing Christ somewhere He has never been. Yet before we arrive, He is already there. Before we speak, God has been speaking. Before we invite, grace has been inviting. Before we knock on the door, the Holy Spirit has been preparing the heart. Christ has already done the heavy lifting through His Cross and Resurrection. The question is not whether there is a harvest. The question is whether there are harvesters. Our task is not to create the crop but to gather it. To see people with compassion. To invite. To witness. To accompany. To trust the Holy Spirit. Many people are not waiting for a perfect preacher or theologian. They are simply waiting for someone who knows Christ enough to point the way. The harvest belongs to God. The power belongs to the Holy Spirit. The victory belongs to Christ. The question each of us must answer today is: Are we ready to become the harvesters Christ is looking for? Lord Jesus, thank You for the harvest You have prepared through Your love and the work of the Holy Spirit. Help us to be courageous in inviting others to You, humble in serving them, and joyful in witnessing to Your Gospel, so that many may come to know, love, and follow You. Amen 🙏🏽 Happy Sunday fellow harvesters for Christ 🎉🤩

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother full of love and mercy, we entrust ourselves to your maternal care. Teach us to love Jesus with all our hearts, to trust God in every season, and to say “yes” to His will as you did. Comfort the sorrowful, strengthen the weak, protect our families, and guide us safely on the path to holiness. May your Immaculate Heart be our refuge and our way to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us. Amen.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus is the visible sign of God’s endless love for us. It is a heart that was pierced, yet continues to love; wounded, yet continues to heal; rejected, yet continues to forgive. When we look at the Sacred Heart, we are reminded that we are deeply loved, even in our weakness, failures, and struggles. Jesus does not love us because we are perfect; He loves us because He is love. The Heart of Jesus invites us to allow our hearts to become more like His. To be compassionate, forgiving, patient, and open to God’s will and love of others. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, make our hearts like unto Thine. Amen.

St. Barnabas – Apostle and Martyr The name Barnabas means “Son of Encouragement” or “Son of Consolation.” It was a fitting name for a man whose life was dedicated to strengthening others in faith and bringing people closer to Christ. Barnabas was a Levite from the island of Cyprus who became one of the first disciples of the early Church. Filled with the Holy Spirit and strong in faith, he generously sold his property and gave the proceeds to support the Christian community (Acts 4:36–37). He played a vital role in the spread of the Gospel by welcoming and supporting St. Paul when many Christians were still afraid of him after his conversion. Barnabas later travelled with Paul on missionary journeys, preaching Christ and establishing Christian communities throughout the region. Known for his kindness, wisdom, and encouragement, Barnabas helped build bridges within the early Church and inspired many to follow Jesus. Tradition holds that he was eventually martyred in Salamis, Cyprus, around AD 61 while proclaiming the Gospel. His life reminds us that the Church needs people who encourage rather than discourage, unite rather than divide, and bring others closer to Christ through their words and actions. Today, let us ask ourselves: Who needs encouragement from me today? How can I help someone take one step closer to God? St. Barnabas, Apostle and Martyr, pray for us.

MERCY TUESDAY (Isaiah 43:13) I am God; yes from eternity I am He. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it? Prayer for Mercy: Merciful Father, on this Mercy Tuesday I come before You seeking mercy and divine assurance. Lord, let Your mercy reassure my heart today. Remind me that You are still in control, even when I do not understand what is happening around me. What You have planned for my life will come to pass, and no obstacle is greater than Your power. Give me peace instead of worry, confidence instead of fear, and faith instead of discouragement. Help me to rest in the assurance that I am safe in Your hands. Amen. I trust in You, Lord, because when You act, no one can reverse it. Affirmations: Mercy has remembered me ! Mercy has spoken for me ! Mercy has responded for me ! Access granted… Access received ! A new Garment received ! I am a walking testimony ! I am a miracle of God ! I am a trophy of God’s grace ! My Joy is here ! #celebration2026 #mercytuesday #myjoyishere #iknockedandthedooropened
