The US is slipping fast into dictatorship - and right now - in the UK - we face threats from the same forces that aided Trump. Hostile states like Russia which meddle in our politics, media and social media channels which platform far-right voices and personalities and normalise extremist positions, billionaire political donors and now, the US administration itself. We must take immediate steps to preserve the integrity of our elections – tackle dark money, disinformation, direct interference and we must take steps to protect against bad actors in government should they gain power by making it harder to unwind our democracy and human rights. On 29 June an event in Parliament sponsored by Clive Lewis MP, Richard Quigley MP and Roz Savage MP will highlight the importance of immediate action. It will focus on ‘Future Proofing Democracy - Stopping the Far Right through Constitutional Reform.’   Please take 3 minutes to write to your MP about this important event and ask them to attend on your behalf.
