replaying the mortal shell 2 demo. just incredible area design, art direction, combat encounters, boss design, superbly satisfying and weighty combat that also feels responsive. a tough balancing act. still my frontrunner for GotY this year.

Dude genichiro in Sekiro resurrection mod is some next level shit. At least twice as hard if not more. Crazy amount of alternates, his bag of moves is infinite, and he’s crazy fast. Base Sekiro is cocaine, Sekiro resurrection mod is crystal meth. Me trying to survive:

sekiro resurrection massively upgraded this dude. the mod devs really did understand what needed tuning up. although I think i fucked up by clicking an option in the menus for kuro's bell charm, but I can't give it back to him because I haven't beaten genny yet lmao

here's part of my fight against genny in the sekiro resurrection mod. after this clip i almost got him down on the second deathblow but he got my ass. very cool to give him his moveset from later in the game but also quicker

this mod fucking rips. so many new things within the first 30 minutes. tengu scared the fuck out of me. i saw a fat hammer man getting rawdogged by a rooster. new traps like this dude exploded as i tried to pick up normally safe loot off him. 10/10 so far

welp now the ogre guy is like 2x faster and the time to evade his grabs seems like 3 milliseconds sooooo let the rawdogging commence

ok not that bad at all actually. I think they fixed how big the hitbox is for the grab. he also has a new big move that you can do the new super deflect on. very satisfying. 2 tries.
