Japanese Defense Minister Koizumi gave the President of Indonesia a scale model of the Imperial Japanese Navy Battleship Mikasa, the flagship in Japan's victory over Russia at the 1905 Battle of Tsushima.
The Misaka survives today as a museum in Koizumi's election district.
