What's the etiquette on public commenting on @ContraPoints tangents? I guess what I want to know: is it cannon to love her more if the video is unlisted?

This is an amazing piece of evidence for a phenomenon I have intuitively pointed out several times: foreign investors do not buy the narrative forged by local doomsayers about the state of the Brazilian economy. There's too much ideological content in Brazil's economic commentary
When market sentiment gets really bad on Brazil - which is the case now - it's always led by Brazil's own residents (purple). This was true under Bolsonaro in 2021 and it's again true now under Lula. Brazil's political leadership doesn't matter. Brazilians hate Brazil regardless.

Yall. This is so cool!!! The text reflected in the raindrops with a shader 🤯 Real, searchable, translatable DOM content in the canvas. Stylable with regular CSS, too. 🤯🤯🤯 @fserb
For the last couple months, our team has been working hard on a few paradigm-changing features for HTML Canvas. One of them is the ability to have HTML elements in a canvas. Here's a ThreeJS demo with a live HTML texture.

This is prototype integration of DOM inside a WebGL application is HUGE! The WebGL app gets to use the best 2D framework inside the 3D world, while the browser tools still see the text and enable accessibility like in regular pages! (it wouldn't just be for WebGL but WebGPU too)

US DOJ🇺🇸 goes after #AppleBrowserBan! 🎉🎉📢 "Apple can still control the functionality of web apps because Apple requires all web browsers on the iPhone to use WebKit, Apple’s browser engine—the key software components that third-party browsers use to display web content." p62

It's weird to recommend a 3h video about Twilight. @ContraPoints delivers again. youtube.com/watch?v=bqloPw5w…

It's all fun and games until you realize that GPT4 is also not smart enough to understand Tree-Sitter CFG. :P The lack of good debugging (like outputing the actual state graph) makes everything more painful. But being CF without any easy to use lookahead is SOOO painful.

This is madness. Apple is clearly lying and bullying the EU. If a 3rd-party browser did anything that is against the DMA, then they would be liable, not Apple. Or is Apple saying that they are liable for any interaction a user has on iOS (even on a webpage)? Scum move.
It's official. iOS will not support Progressive Web Apps in the EU. It would be great if Apple provides the basis of this claim: "We expect this change to affect a small number of users"

What an amazing movie Poor Things is. It's gorgeous, creative and intelligent. But more than that, it owns its choices with a courage that is rare these days. It doesn't hide behind cheap cynicism and trollishness. It reaches the high that only the best cinema is able to.
