Winter driving safety advice: 1. brush ALL the snow off your vehicle (not just a hole to see through). 2. turn your lights on (not for you, but for other people to see you, especially the snowhats who didn't completely brush off their vehicles.)

I like that in Swedish, the saying "practice makes perfect" (Övning ger färdighet) actually translates back to English as "practice gives you skill".
