I haven't read this book and I'm sure it's awesome - which I part of why I've never understood why industry royalty rates are so terrible.
Fullstack D3 author made $50k since last April. Fullstack Vue made $20k opening weekend (royalties, not revenue), Node $10k last month /1

If youโve ever wondered how much an author of a pretty decent selling technical book might get paid, here you go. This was for a period of 3 months minus some money I was already forwarded.
Not getting rich off of royalties, but the experience as a whole has been priceless.

1/30 This month marks 10 years since I started my journey as a web developer. When I graduated in 2008 โ the perfectly wrong time to graduate because the US economy was in the beginnings of a horrible recession โ it took me a year before I found a job.

Currently building an example CLI. It's coming along nicely thanks to great modules like npm.im/yargs, npm.im/prompts, and npm.im/chalk.
I'm particularly fond of automatic login/retry for product editing.
