After several months locked in my apartment, pushing myself past my limit, I became a software engineer. I cannot thank my friends, family, instructors, learning/teaching assistants, coworkers, neighbors, everyone for their support.
I'm so looking forward to the path ahead.
Engineering is mostly solving a lot of problems. Please remember: if a problem seems too big to solve, it usually is. So don’t try. Break it into smaller problems first, then solve those. The barrier is lower, the wins are sooner, and you’ll stay saner longer.
Learning to code is hard - and it's easy to lose motivation and want to quit.
