We lost everything in #Ida last year. The displaced people in Florida will need all the help they can get. The $12 million that Ron DeSantis used for a stunt to fly migrants across the country would sure be handy now for Floridians in need. #Ian #Florida #Orlando

Our first movie theater outing in almost two years! It was great to see a @Marvel movie on the big screen again, but pretty disappointing to find out @RegalMovies switched to Pepsi. Guess we'll be saving on concessions going forward!

My random reminder for @github users that if you type a 't' when in a repo, you can lazy search for a filename path. I feel like nobody knows this but I use it maybe every day.

It's OK for tests to repeat themselves. It's OK for tests to repeat themselves. It's OK for tests to repeat themselves.

I particularly dislike the pattern: subject { SomeClass.new.some_method } ...just to avoid calling .some_method repeatedly in each example. This eliminates a seam you'd otherwise have for dependency injection into the object under test.

Sometimes I get the feeling I haven't been learning much new stuff the last 2-3 years, but then I look at code I've written 2 years ago... 🤦‍♂️😆

Ghost Trick now holds the honor of being only the second game ever (after FF15) to make me legit CRY at the ending. Not just "Wow, this game gave me feels." More like this, with me rambling about how precious the twist at the end is.

Time to go to school, I mean mercenary academy? Nevermind, let’s team up and… wait we all knew each other as kids? Hey let’s go to space! Watch out for the dinosaurs. Bah, let’s defeat the witch in the future who wants to compress time.
