i have known about CARI for over 6 years and i greatly applaud their efforts. i myself have posted lots of examples on their discord too. it's so fascinating to observe contemporary design trends and not just the motifs but how they came to be
If you’ve been on the internet over the past five years, you’ve probably seen these “aesthetics” go viral before. What you may not know is that all of these terms have one common origin point. [Informational Thread]

These are the first times that the words "Frutiger Aero," "Indie Sleaze," and "McBling" were ever spoken on the internet, with dates:

for better or worse i'm typically a file hoarder, at least when it comes to files that can't easily be reproduced or found onlne. i can never rule out the possibility of needing them later

google. a niche short lived website no one's heard of, it's a shame it didn't catch on
Anyone who surfed the early web between 1995-2010. What’s the one website/app you still think about?

love how f-zero x's music is mostly metal and there's even a metal ass title "All Need is 30 Deaths". ironic part is that it's actually more prog rock/fusion than metal unlike most of the others youtube.com/watch?v=05qcC6rS…

funny how hard it can be to guess who composed something even if you've heard lots of the peoples' works. i think it can be when theyre trying/asked to do different things their style becomes less intelligible, or simply sharing traits with others

i deep dived into basiscape music in 2024-25, and love this era in particular. fwiw i did ask namiki before which tracks he did on this but couldn't answer due to an NDA. i do have guesses though

when it comes to a lot of my preservation projects i prefer to not closely attach my name to them since i want them to be seen more for what they are than "a fusoxide work". otherwise i'd end up having 90% of my followers for those and not my music
