In Oklahoma, Rep. Daniel Pae, R-62, spent nearly two years working to pass a bill that would establish a needle exchange program. It passed in 2021 with a five-year sunset clause, and Oklahoma's authorization for harm-reduction programs is set to expire July 1, 2026.
