I have seen calls for naming the #LossandDamageFunds as #HuqFund in memory of Prof @SaleemulHuq. It is a great idea. Also, "huq" means rights or dues in Urdu, making it an apt name, as indeed compensation for losses and damages is due to those who have not contributed to CC.

When thinking about curbing the downsides of the derisking state, I often struggled with the insights of the classical literature on applying Amsden and Wade's Japan-Korea conditionalities to today's economies. @Isabel_Estevez_ has come closest to solving my problem.
