One of the main priorities of our @futureplc coworkers has been getting strong protections around generative AI. We're extremely concerned with how AI has negatively impacted outlets that have adopted it too hastily.

While we fight for raises that keep @futureusunion members able to feed their families and pay medical bills, management deflects. Over the summer, @Futureplc proposed a £45 million stock buyback, but now there's just not enough money for raises that keep up with inflation.

“We need better annual raises so that we can make up what we've lost to inflation since the last contract,” John Loeffler of Tech Radar says. “Our salary demands aren't unreasonable. Management knows it too, since they're paying the same prices we are.”
