When the players got in at half time, Howe was waiting with a presentation. He showed them the stats of how we drop off physically in the first 15 mins of the 2nd half. He implored them not to do the same. 7 minutes in, this happens. Superb. #NUFC

In nerve roots, intrafascicular injection only occurred if fascicle diameter was more than twice the needle opening length and the entire opening was inside the fascicle. Our latest paper: authors.elsevier.com/c/1kQ0S… @RegionalAnaesUK @ESRA_Society @ASRA_Society

4. We recommend targeting LA deep to the sub-circumneural fascial layer. Requires gentle apposition of the needle tip on the epineurium. In other words, we need to touch the nerve

Short-bevelled block needles cannot enter fascicles. Fascicles are protected by tough perineurium and fascial tissue. Needles 2 to 3 times wider and fascicles rotate. Different scenario at nerve root where fascicles much bigger
