thinking about reducing my usage of this app/site, starting by removing it from my phone I've been trying to mirror posts on threads for the last while so that's where I'll likely go towards so threads.net/@gaminggeek.dev I don't think I'll be gone completely from here... for now

If you didn't play older versions like 1.8.9 & 1.12.2 then it's much less likely you would've ran into it since it was most common on these versions since it was primarily included with mods targeted at Hypixel players like Sk1er's mods

Sk1er made the original mod, ModCore, that together with Spark Universe (who now have complete ownership of it with Sk1er no longer being involved) became Essential

Just noticed that some things look a bit wrong here, seems their variable names matched some of the Yarn mappings and were therefore remapped. You can click "YARN" in the upper right and change it to None to resolve that

Update: Made remapping a bit stricter to prevent this issue so it should be fine to leave it enabled now

Hypixel Skyblock is OFFICIALLY moving to modern versions of Minecraft only. On February 24th, only the 2 most recent releases of Minecraft will be able to log in to Skyblock. As of right now that is 1.21.9 RIP 1.8.9🪦
