We’d like to give a big shoutout to @dansdiveshop for hosting our Emergency Oxygen Provider course last night! Thanks to them, 9 of our members are now certified Emergency Oxygen Providers. GAMRU is constantly training so we can provide the best care for everyone.

The members of GAMRU’s A Crew welcome the team’s newest recruit, JJ! A rescue manikin the team uses to train on victim recovery from the water, JJ gets his name from our newest supporter, JJ’s On the Dock. The popular Lake Street restaurant is sponsoring JJ’s year on the water.

Engine kill switches have been a regular sight on vessels for the last 20 years. However, while popular, they are not required on most vessels. Transport Canada is now looking into the possibility of making them required for all new vessels. Read here: boatingindustry.ca/current-n…
