Only 2 days to go until our Summer Fair and plant sale. Come and join us at the Welfare Hall from 10am until 12 midday on Saturday 14th June. We will have plants for sale outside and tea, coffee and cakes and a selection of stalls inside, including tombolas & craft

GIB were joined by Capita yesterday on one of their volunteering days & helped to clear all the summer bedding outside the Gaping Goose & the bed on Meadow Road. Here they are having a well earned break. Thankyou so much

@ RHS Bridgewater. We had a wonderful time there today. The gardens are fantastic. We also enjoyed the tour (ours was given by Sally) so knowledgeable & informative. Very friendly & welcoming staff too. Thankyou.

Many thanks to Capita, a local company who came to help us this morning by clearing the winter bedding from outside the Gaping Goose & also the tubs in Main Street. Your support & enthusiam is much appreciated.

Working on our bee & butterfly bed & living up to its name. Saw 5 different butterflies, bumblebees & hairy footed flower bee, plus robin & sparrows. Lots of activity today.
