I need the community's help.
RocketScan is at risk of shutting down within the next week if we can't find a way to cover infrastructure costs. I want to be straight with you about what's happening and ask for your input on where we go from here.
What's going on
You've probably noticed tokens are now taking minutes to appear instead of the sub-second latency you're used to. The cause is Helius. They've restructured how they bill WebSocket connections, and real-time on-chain monitoring through them has become prohibitively expensive at our usage level. We've been running degraded to keep the lights on, but that's not the product I want to ship to you, and it's not sustainable.
Where we are
Our Meteora Grant funding reached the eand of its runway about 2 months ago. I've been funding RocketScan personally and building it part-time. Without a change, I can keep it alive for roughly another week. After that, I'll have to take it offline.
Three paths I see
1. Small user fee a low monthly subscription (think the price of a coffee) to cover infra and keep the free tier alive for casual users.
2. Launch a RocketScan token fees from the token fund operations. I'd only do this with one of the Meteora launch partners, but would need help from someone with experience to do this right.
3. Community funding round a one-time top-up from users who want to keep the tool alive, in exchange for something meaningful (lifetime access, early features, etc.).
4. Something Else?
Shutting down is the default if none of these land. I'd rather not get there.
What I'm asking
Any help, suggestions or advice on how we keep RocketScan alive and get it cooking again!

I have noticed though a certain class of .HLs, who are obviously new here, disrespect toly in increasingly cheap ways
toly is a monumental mind in the trajectory of crypto
ppl dont remember now but there was a long and aggressive period of time where we had to fight every single day, for years, to show that actually you CAN scale crypto to planetary scale and that the ethereum way is not the only option
this took an immense amount of work in spite of tremendous setbacks and many near death moments but now the engineering bar in crypto is meaningfully different than before toly. solana has created hundreds of new startups and businesses
the dude is rich beyond belief, has nothing left to prove, and instead of checking out like 99% of people here, shows up every single day and has fun doing it
you can and should criticize many things about solana, but personal attacks against one of the very rare instances of a missionary founder is unserious and will do nothing but give solana founders free and limitless energy

Created an open source bot as an example of what you can do with the @blankdotbuild API/SDK.
This bot listens to any X account in real time. As soon as it detects a tweet that could turn into a memecoin, it creates one on Blank.
There is an AI that scores virality and meme potential, ranks tweets, and if it passes a threshold it generates a token from the text and uses the tweet image or creates a new one.
It's open source, you can fork it, use it, tweak it for your own use case. Just a demo leveraging the SDK.

it wasn't that hard to make it all back, it would have been if I was thinking of making it back and had intentions of revenge trade.
keeping ur mind clear and sticking to the screening checks saves u from choosing the wrong token and getting it right matters!
