Officer Brian Elliott gave his life in the line of duty tonight. Maureen and I are praying for his family, loved ones, and his brothers and sisters in uniform as they grieve this unimaginable loss. We continue to pray for a full recovery for the second officer injured in tonight’s shooting. The suspect remains at large, Hoosiers in the Beech Grove area should remain vigilant, follow guidance from local law enforcement, and monitor official updates. He will be brought to justice.
