On August 29, 1990, the leader of the U.S. Senate, 🇺🇸🇺🇸 Senator Bob Dole, together with Senators William Warner, Edwin Jacob Garn, Donald Lee Nickles, Alfonse Marcello D’Amato, Steven Douglas Symms, and Cornelius Alexander McGillicuddy III, arrived for a historic visit to Kosovo. During this visit, the American delegation witnessed firsthand the brutal oppression that Serbian forces were carrying out against the Albanians. Senator Dole spoke firmly before the Serbian representatives and from Prishtina sent a clear message to dictator Milosevic: “Freedom is coming, democracy is coming.” This message remained a turning point and a source of hope for our people. In many of my television appearances, I have mentioned this moment as one of the cornerstones of Kosovo’s path toward freedom and independence. Today, 35 years after Senator Dole’s visit, we should feel fortunate to be witnesses to the continued achievements of our independent state. #Kosovo #USA #BobDole #FreedomIsComing #Democracy #Independence #HarryBajraktari

A new chapter written with courage, discipline, and unmatched resolve. 🇽🇰🇺🇸 Second Lieutenant Vesa Ibrahimi, an officer in the @KSF_Kosova, has made history as the first woman from outside the United States to graduate from Ranger School—one of the most demanding and prestigious training programs of the @USArmy. Her achievement marks a proud milestone for our Security Force, for our Republic, and for every young girl who dares to dream of serving with honor and leading with purpose. We are proud of all our young women and men in uniform who continue to train at the finest military institutions of the United States, bringing honor to our country with every step forward.

Kosovo stands as proof that justice, when defended, can prevail. That NATO, when guided by values, can save lives. That freedom, when earned, becomes a nation’s greatest strength. And that we have never forgotten those who stood by us then—and who stand by us today. As the most pro-American nation on Earth, we are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with the American people, through thick and thin. It is an alliance second to none—one that we look forward to enhancing through President @realDonaldTrump’s ‘peace through strength’ formula. I sat down with @MarioNawfal to speak about Kosovo’s journey—from its history, to surviving genocide, to building a cradle of freedom, a peace-loving, thriving, forward-looking democracy. Kosovo will stand: unyielding, unbroken, eternal! And so will our alliance with the United States of America! 🇽🇰🇺🇸 Watch the full interview below ⬇️
🚨🇽🇰EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW – KOSOVO PRESIDENT: “WE’RE THE MOST PRO-AMERICAN COUNTRY ON EARTH!” Statues of Bill Clinton. Streets named after him. And 97% of the country backing the U.S.—whether it’s a Democrat or Republican in power. Kosovo’s President @VjosaOsmaniPRKS opens up in a wide-ranging, unfiltered conversation on war, survival, NATO, and why Kosovars still see America as their greatest ally. She details growing up under Serbian oppression. The genocide her people endured. And why Kosovo’s path to independence is nothing like Crimea, Donbas, or South Ossetia. “Everywhere around Kosovo, the pain is so deep. But you will never, ever meet anyone that wants revenge. Only justice, no revenge.” From fighting for freedom to joining NATO and confronting China’s growing influence—this is the insider view from Europe’s youngest country, told by the woman leading it. 4:26 - How was Kosovo part of Yugoslavia, and how did it become an independent country? 7:11 - An explanation of the history of Kosovo. 11:12 - “This was a war against innocent women and children.” 12:22 - “Kosovo is the most pro-American nation on Earth.” 14:51 - What’s President Osmani’s take on NATO as an alliance and its military actions beyond Kosovo in recent years? 18:02 - NATO’s intervention in Kosovo had a lasting positive impact beyond securing the people’s survival and independence. 22:41 - Would it be fair to argue that NATO’s role in Kosovo wasn’t as purely defensive as its actions in the Middle East? 24:50 - Historically, Kosovo has played a role in defending Western countries. 27:10 - Kosovo has a statue built of Bill Clinton and a boulevard named after him? 28:55 - Was NATO right to expand eastward after promising Russia it wouldn’t? How much did that influence Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine? 30:02 - Is NATO’s eastward expansion provocative? 33:49 - “The moment a leader puts human suffering as the centerpiece of its decision-making, that’s when peace is possible.” 34:42 - With U.S.–Russia ties improving, does President Osmani believe NATO is still a necessary alliance? 38:42 - How much did NATO’s eastward expansion influence Putin’s invasion? What are President Osmani’s thoughts on Putin’s use of the Kosovo precedent to justify it? 40:15 - If China had missile bases near the U.S., wouldn’t it be seen as a threat—like the Monroe Doctrine suggests? So, why wouldn’t Russia see NATO’s buildup the same way? 44:10 - The common link between both cases is the similar crimes committed—Milosevic in Kosovo and Putin in Ukraine. 46:17 - Does President Osmani think a U.S.–Russia alliance is possible, especially with China rising as a major threat? Would she support such an alliance? 49:08 - Would the world be better today if NATO had welcomed Russia in the 2000s? 51:08 - If Russia joined NATO, would that undermine NATO’s purpose—since it was built to counter Russia? 54:02 - What are President Osmani’s thoughts on Ukraine nearly signing a peace deal in March 2022? 🚨🇷🇸EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW - SERBIAN PRESIDENT: 'THEY WANT TO OVERTHROW ME!' Mass protests in the streets. Accusations of foreign interference. Is Serbia on the edge of a democratic movement—or in the middle of a foreign-backed color revolution? President Vucic: “They think it’s just a matter of time before they overthrow that bastard—which is myself.” @predsednikrs opens up in a wide-ranging, unfiltered conversation on unrest at home, NATO’s legacy, global double standards, and Serbia’s precarious position between the U.S., Russia, and China. He dives deep into his meetings with Trump, Putin, Xi Jinping, and EU leaders. The is the insider view from the man at the center of the storm. 02:20 – How Serbia went from post-war rubble to one of Europe’s fastest risers. 04:41 – “A totally illegal aggression.” Vučić torches NATO’s 1999 bombing—and says the world’s been paying the price since. 06:50 – Kosovo vs. Crimea: How Western double standards handed Putin his excuse. 08:47 – Macron, Scholz, Michel—Vučić claims even they admit Putin used Kosovo as a green light. 10:06 – “He has a point.” Vučić on whether Putin’s legal logic holds up in court—or just in geopolitics. 11:09 – 300,000 in the streets… or just great camera angles? Vučić breaks the illusion. 13:18 – “A mutiny of a fake elite.” He says this isn’t about justice—it’s about power. 15:03 – “It’s a color revolution.” Vučić points fingers at foreign-funded media and NGOs. 18:18 – Are they paid? No cash—just outside propaganda doing its job, he says. 21:33 – “They want me out.” Vučić claims the protests are more coup than cause. 23:07 – Docs released, demands met—so why are the crowds growing? 25:46 – Serbia’s investment drop? Vučić blames protest-driven instability. 27:07 – “If this were the U.S. or UK, they’d all be jailed.” Vučić goes in on Western hypocrisy. 29:28 – Resignations, clemency—he checked the boxes. But the streets still burn. 30:17 – “They just want me gone.” Vučić doubts the ballot box will be enough. 31:51 – “Protest tourism.” Vučić takes a jab at Instagram activists and weekend warriors. 34:59 – Why Yugoslavia collapsed: WWI wounds, ethnic rifts, and outside meddling. 36:03 – “We lost a third of our people.” Vučić says the world forgets Serbia’s WWI sacrifice. 38:45 – “We expelled Nazis—with little help.” Vučić on history being rewritten. 43:35 – “They made Serbia the example.” How the West flexed after the Cold War. 47:09 – “Trump has 80% approval here.” Vučić explains the love for 45. 49:57 – 20 meetings with Putin. 12 with Xi. 9 with Zelensky. Vučić breaks down the gameboard. 50:42 – “Didn’t speak to Putin for 3.5 years.” But others did—quietly. 52:58 – How Vučić called the Ukraine war—without a single tip-off from Moscow. 53:10 – “Putin won’t invade more countries.” Vučić calls out the fear machine. 55:35 – Will Trump broker peace with Russia & China? “Yes—and sooner than you think.” 56:34 – “You’ll be surprised.” Vučić hints at USAID’s shadowy role in Serbia’s unrest. 57:38 – His next chapter? A book on how to spark a revolution—without firing a shot.

Today, I formally requested the Government of Kosovo to suspend import tariffs on all U.S. products—an important step to deepen economic ties with our closest ally and to send a clear message: Kosovo is ready for a more robust relationship with the United States, with a clear vision that would make both our countries stronger, safer and more prosperous. I am confident this move would unlock new opportunities for job creation, technology exchange, and long-term economic growth. More than just an economic move, this is a foreign policy objective, reaffirming our enduring commitment to the Kosovo–U.S. alliance, built on the shared values of freedom and decades of unwavering support. 🇽🇰 🇺🇸 @realDonaldTrump @POTUS
LIBERATION DAY RECIPROCAL TARIFFS 🇺🇸
Community note
Trump’s “reciprocal” tariffs (e.g., China 67%, EU 40%) aren’t based on actual foreign tariffs (WTO: China 7.3%, EU 5.2%) but likely on the U.S. trade deficit divided by imports (e.g., China: 279B/427B=65%). See WTO data: wto.org/english/res_e/… (233 caratteri

24 March 1999— the day freedom prevailed and a people’s call for justice amidst their fight for existence was answered. Twenty-six years ago, NATO’s intervention, coupled with our people’s unwavering determination for freedom, marked not only a decisive turning point in our country’s history, but also a milestone in the modern history of humankind. Today, we thank our allies and honor the service and sacrifice of the brave NATO soldiers — the women and men who served for peace and security in our country. Kosovo rose from the ashes of a genocidal war to stand eternal, sovereign, and unbreakable.

Modern Albanians have no connection to Caucasian Albania. They’re likely indigenous to the Balkans, with Indo-European roots (Illyrian/Thracian), while Caucasian Albania was a distinct kingdom in the Caucasus (now Azerbaijan) with a different language and culture. The name similarity is coincidental, often misused in nationalist debates online.

Evidence shows Serbia colonized Kosovo after 1912, settling 60,000–65,000 Serbs to shift demographics. Policies included new settlements and renaming places like Ferizović to Uroševac. Over 100,000 Albanians left by 1945, often displaced to Turkey or Albania, reducing their population from 65% in 1921 to 61% by 1931, while Serbs rose from 28% to 32%. This aimed to assert Serbian control in a historically sensitive region.

.@DonaldJTrumpJr is a good-intentioned guy and has America’s interest at heart. I watched the interview he had with Serbia’s strongman @avucic. President Vučić is a sophisticated schmoozer, but he’s also a very sophisticated liar. Not being a specialist on former Yugoslavia, Don Jr. doesn’t know that Kosovo was annexed from Albania in 1913 and, before Yugoslavia fell apart in the 1990s, Kosovo was a constitutive part of Federal Yugoslavia, just like Serbia. So, no territory was taken from Serbia, but Serbia was air-assaulted by NATO to prevent the genocide against Albanians in Kosovo perpetrated by Milošević’s Serbia. I lost 6 members of my family during the war in 1999, all civilians killed by Serbian paramilitaries and soldiers. In the video, around 1:10:00, however there is a huge lie President Vučić tells Don Jr. when he says Serbia didn’t attack anyone in the neighborhood in the last 3 years. The truth is Serbia did attack Kosovo in 2023. The US has recordings and facts that Serbia and Vučić were behind the Banjska attack, which was an armed assault carried out by Serb militants against the Kosovo Police in the village of Banjska located in North Kosovo on 24 September 2023. As a matter of the truth the commander of the action Radojčić, the right hand man of Vučić, is still being harbored in Belgrade by Vučić and Serbia. It’s very commendable of @DonaldJTrumpJr to try and help Serbia and Kosovo normalize relations and hopefully @POTUS Trump will be able to bring peace betw. Serbs and Albanians, but Vučić can’t be trusted without being verified. Let’s hope @DonaldJTrumpJr will interview the President of Kosovo @VjosaOsmaniPRKS to present the other side of the story, namely the side of the story of the staunchest ally of the US in Europe— the Independent Republic of Kosovo.

How can we save $4 billion a year Howard? 24 hours latter…🤯
27 Feb 2025
THIS IS GENIUS! Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick just announced plans to use the Postal Service to conduct the Census instead of wasting billions. USPS workers will also replace 20,000 Social Security workers. "We spend $40 billion every 10 years doing the census. And that means we hire 625,000 people. And they go, and they rent cars and gas, and you pay them food... They go to every household and count the people." "What department do we already have that already employs 625,000 people? It's got cars, already has gas, and goes to every household. [Answer: USPS]." "They can go to your house when you have a baby and give you the form for Social Security. And the 20,000 Social Security officers that we have, we just don't need them. We actually can do real customer service." "Let's use the assets of the government to make us better and save us money." IT'S SO GENIUS!
