Trump just announced the Strait of Hormuz will be "toll free".
The Iranian Regime is continuing to insist it WILL collect tolls.
Iran also states there is no deal without Israel ceasing attacks on Hezbollah.
This deal was dead in the water before the boat was launched.

Facts about the Iran Deal you should know
1. No money has been released to Iran. VP Vance states no economic relief will take place unless certain metrics are met.
2. No US Gov Official has released the details of the deal. VP Vance states they will be released this week before the official signing on Friday.
3. The deal was electronically signed by USA/Iran yesterday. The deal is a 60 day extension of the ceasefire. Iran will be required to allow actual international access to inspect any enrichment facilities. This is not the JCPOA. Iran hid several facilities from the IAEA.
4. Iran claims it will control the Strait of Hormuz following the 60 day evaluation. They also claim the USA will give them $300B to rebuild their country or they will take it from tolls in the Strait. That is not going to happen.
5. Lastly, and most importantly, Iran is demanding that fighting in Lebanon between Israel and Hezbollah cease. Israel is not withdrawing forces. Bombs continue to fall.
Point 5 is the crux of this entire deal. Israel is not going to bend on the dismantling and destruction of Hezbollah. The odds of Iran pulling out of this deal and blaming it on Israel are extremly high.
Just yesterday Hezbollah attacked Israeli territory. Isreal answered back by bombing a Hezbollah HQ in Beirut. Iran immediately threatened to bomb Israel until Trump stepped in. Hegseth stated that the response by Israel was proportionate after Trump condemned Israel for the attack saying Israel was going to screw up the deal.

I often get asked by parents, what does my kid need to achieve to earn a place at UC Berkeley? The answer is, I don’t know.
There used to be an implicit social contract that if a California resident excels in school and is a very high achiever, there would be a predictable path to one of the leading campuses of the University of California system. Until the early-2000s this was explicit in that between 50-75% of incoming classes had to be admitted on the basis of academic criteria alone (GPA, SATs, APs). A high school student basically knew what they had to hit to get admitted to Cal.
UCs no longer considers SAT/ACT scores, and letters of recommendation are generally not part of the application. The remaining academic record is heavily based on grades, course-taking, "school context", supplemented by personal insight questions (in the AI era!) and activities. But in an era of substantial grade inflation, transcripts have become a noisy signal. True academic achievement matters much less than it used to.
The result is, while not literally random, highly unpredictable and illegible admissions. For California families, it is no longer clear what level of achievement is enough for their kids, or even what kind of achievement the system is trying to reward.
I suspect that is not what most families in California want.

BREAKING: Iran says the US has agreed to permanently hand over the Strait of Hormuz to Iran under their full sovereign authority, with Iran collecting tolls called "service fees" from all commercial ships after a 60-day waiver period. The opening is planned for Friday, after the signing, per Fars.
With pre-war Hormuz traffic at 30,000 vessels and 7.6 billion barrels of oil per year, this could generate $10 billion in annual revenue for Iran, and comes on top of the $300 billion in reconstruction funds directly sent to Iran.
This also directly contradicts Trump's claim of a "toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz" under no fees.

The side that allegedly won the war is making all the concessions, unfreezing billions for agreements that were already in place before the war.
The side that allegedly lost the war gets access to more of its frozen assets, maintains a hard line clerical regime, gains more revenue from high oil prices and a new economic weapon - their ability to cause global pain by blocking the strait of Hormuz when provoked.
Trump’s hoping his gaudy circus on the White House front lawn will distract you from the fact that he lost a war he should’ve never started.
