It’s pretty difficult to put to words the specialness of last night. When one of the greatest gospel groups I’ve ever heard - @greatervision - agrees to make an impromptu tour stop to help support our campaign…throw in members of your church family who drove out of their way…friends from out of state…longtime friends on this campaign…friends since childhood who grew up with me in the church across the street…and brand new friends who came for fellowship and great music…Add all that together - plus the memory of my grandparents I spent every weekend with right here in Richmond and the Holy Spirit filling the room - you’ve got one special night. As I told my friend Jeremy Pope who helped make it all happen - this event wasn’t about the campaign. It was deeply personal and refreshed my soul. I’ll treasure it forever. Thank you to all who came to be a part of it.
