Technical details:
- basic approach: what happens if we aim for the very MAXIMUM QUALITY on everything
- each lesson costs me about $40 to generate, but I've got Google credits so don't worry :)
- the content is "generated" with over 60 LLM calls
- fundamentally pretty much everything is done vi generate/grade/edit loop
- every stage is a separate LLM call (no "self reflection") to reset thinking budgets
- frames for the "story" are generated over 10x (each frame)
- story itself is generated in several stages: idea generation (with grounding), prose, verify/edit, segmentation, verify/edit segmentation
- TTS is OpenAI (you can see the code supports Gemini TTS, but GeminiTTS quality is visibly worse)
- all coding problems are verified by running Python tests and via 2x LLM grading (grading the problems and grading each solution with codex-5-high)

codex-5-high just solved in 5m 44s what I was thinking like a very complicated refactoring and was procrastinating whole day from actually doing.
I mostly making a note for tomorrow.
Then just copy pasted it into codex adding “plan thoroughly as this is a complex recursive algorithm, feel free to introduce helper function and read and reread the code, follow our guidelines in AGENTSmd file” and didn’t pay attention, thinking that I’ll just revert its mess, because surely it won’t figure it out.
Well…. bro did it perfectly. I’d love to see its chain of thought. Do you think he has opinions on me personally??

Sorry folks, it actually coded some bugs :)
For those interested it is generating storyboards using Nano Banana (afaik the only api available image model which can do many images with consistency)
