Thank you for the heartwarming support once again, this time on @devhunt_ 🤗
Overall, DevHunt was a really nice experience and a great place to spread the word about Frameright’s open-source solutions for Image Display Control.
We are enjoying this moment 🌈 We are currently in 3rd place on @devhunt_ , but there are still 5 hours remaining, so things can still change multiple times. If possible, please check out our DevHunt launch today and support us by voting or commenting ❤️ devhunt.org/tool/image-displ…
It has been an exciting afternoon, observing all the support we are receiving on @devhunt_
We are here, eating popcorn and feeling very grateful. Frameright is currently very close to securing the 3rd place, but things can change quickly in any direction! 😅🍿
Now is your last chance to support Frameright on @devhunt_ 🤩 It has been a great week, filled with new ideas and valuable interactions both on and off the platform✌️

Get started with IDC and custom shapes:
1st, create a custom image container and add the Image Display Control web component to control how the image will behave inside the custom container.
2nd, use a collection with custom overlays in Frameright so content creators can create images that match the custom container.
Contact us to set up a collection with your own custom overlays.
Read more instructions on the demo page!
→ Image Display Control by @getframeright and @MarinaAurora is a tool for responsive images.
It connects web ecosystems and photography workflows, ensuring that image assets are consistently displayed correctly across platforms.

Go have a look and while you are there, remember to give us a vote as well. If you want to test Frameright or chat about Image Display Control, we're available 24/7 this week (like every week ;)
Crops are not just squares. While the image file will most likely be a rectangle, there are a variety of shapes it might get shown in. To help you avoid wasting time and resources, we have added a new feature: circle crops 🤯 ⃝
#imagedisplaycontrol#frameright#IDC#circlecrop
This eliminates one more thing to guess, test, and redo. Now you know exactly where the circle will land 🎯
To find the new round overlay for the circle crop, go to frameright.app/ and open Default Collections → Custom Sizes → Profile Picture (round overlay)
Our CTO, @ilu , is currently at #slush2023 . If you are around, ping him and let's reconnect. And thank you @MediaTech_Hub and @dehubinitiative , it's such a pleasure to network with such a great bunch!
It quickly covers the whole Image Display Control ecosystem from inputting and managing IDC instructions, to how anyone can utilize our open-source solutions to easily access and leverage the IDC metadata.
