My approach to DevRel has always been outside the box. But I execute with excellence so i trust me lmaoo. For example..these are my very unpopular DevRel opinions

ai dev tools giving subsidized access to models is both the greatest and worst possible thing we all know it won't last forever right?

I have sold over 25,000 programming books. But because of AI, I will probably never write another programming book. No sane developer should use a book to learning programming anymore, a strong set of prompts with a coding agent should suffice

This is actually insane Migrations have always been a beast most engineers will not touch

Why is mythos worse than fable in cybersecurity? Wasn’t mythos supposed to be fixing vulnerabilities at lightspeed?

we should build more deterministic workflows into our agents to reduce costs and improve accuracy is something I’ve been saying for 3 yrs now

Open source models are so much cheaper to run than frontier models, once the subsidy of tokens stops they will get much more important

Can recommend starting your own company, especially early career
Fascinating results Anthropic running away with it right now So many people want to start their own company Google over OpenAI Vercel, Linear, Every, PostHog overperforming A great list if you're trying to figure out where to go work πŸ‘‡

Excited to share we've launched an Ambassador Program for the Agentic AI Foundation! If you're an advocate for open source AI and enjoy helping others learn how to build with it, I invite you to apply. Accepting applications for the initial cohort through June 12 aaif.io/ambassadors/

AI is great at coding but makes the same architectural mistakes that humans often make, which is not strange as the models are trained on huge datasets of human mistakes

Let’s see how good OpenClaw is as a running assistant. I tried running both the SF and LA under 4 hours, but finished both 10-15mins over my goal. The previous plans were created by ChatGPT, this time I’m going to use OpenClaw as my realtime assistant. Not just creating a one-off plan, but guiding me during training and in the race. I’ll probably need it to vibecode an app and/or have it call me with feedback while on a run Anyone tried this before?
