(there may be a grand finale with a slightly different mechanic - but that’s tbd) i keep thinking about how strange it is that something built with almost no expectations ended up creating so much connection. artists met collectors. collectors found new artists to believe in. friendships formed. conversations started. opportunities appeared. people took chances on each other. there’s a lot of talk around here about volume and floors and attention. but underneath all of it, the thing that actually matters is whether we leave the door open behind us when we walk through it. <no notice> became proof that people still want discovery. they still want risk. they still want to feel something when they collect art. i went into this trying to help shine a light on other people.

With the participation of incredible artists from all over the world, "Formosa, from Cloud to Land, the inaugural exhibition at Domínio Público 6529 - the world' first CC0 NFT art gallery - concluded with success on April 28, with the sold out collection of 30 1-of-1s funding the installation of the gallery itself. NFTs changed that. Now culture can spread infinitely and be owned finitely. That’s a big deal. Especially for art, where value has always come from provenance, story, and cultural relevance. NFTs don’t change those, they upgrade them: - perfect, global provenance - infinite distribution without breaking ownership - borderless, liquid markets People keep waiting for NFTs to “come back.” But what’s actually happening is quieter: a parallel system for owning digital culture is compounding in the background. And most people will miss it. Because this isn’t about speed or hype like the first NFT cycle. It’s about owning pieces of the internet that matter. The real question isn’t if NFTs return. It’s how much of culture moves onchain and who owns it when it does.
