Wrapping up my 1mo journey in HK. Lots of first-time:
DAO HK - my first time leading a 500 ppl event with many inspiring speakers.
Web3 Festival - first time bringing @deschool_booth on the big stage.
@see_dao meetup - 200 ppl flew in from around the world so we finally met IRL.
But most importantly, it's @see_dao members who made all these magical moments happen. We're building a network to connect crypto nomads around the world. Stay tuned for the next stop: Mountenegro 👀

Sneakpeak: receiving my kc.seedao soon thanks to @dotbitHQ impeccable cohost of DAO HK
Widespread protests against Zero Covid across China. Meanwhile it's illegal to protest in China and all Chinese social media are taking down content. Young people leading protests are taken by the police brutally on street. I'm following @whyyoutouzhele for the lastest updates
This is the largest and most promising protests I've witnessed so far. Would love to chat with any frens who want to learn more about what's going on inside China for the past 3 years. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protes…
I didn't consume much protein in the past few days because I am running out of cat food, so I'm saving meat for my cat. I'm also worry about him too. There're incidents that patients' pets got brutally killed because of the concern on pets carrying COVID.
There're more news that won't get on major news sites. They only float through wechat group chats and disappear later somehow. All of these, I believe, hurt everyone going through this. I believe most people in this city are wounded.
Why did @Seedao_ir start this analysis?
Because a DAO is a unity of connections among participants. Lots of ideas spark in discussion and cooperations happen organically. When there's no more top-down assignment, you won't be able to understand a down by a glance.
Here comes the new method to operate a DAO: let it happen. No more top-down design. No more command. We, as researchers, observe the community, collect the data, analyze them, find the real needs and serve the community as they truly want.
