I was inspired by @JeffChang30 's tweet so I adapted his framework for enterprise and B2B products medium.com/design-bootcamp/h…

Levels of validation for a new product idea, from lowest to highest: 1. Users say they want a product 2. Users sign up for a waitlist 3. Users sign up for and use a free product 4. Users pay for the product 5. Users pay and retain <- try to get here

Entertainment is the point.

My father has a 1200 day Spanish streak on Duolingo. We went on holiday to Spain recently and he could hardly string two sentences together. What the fuck is the point of that app?

I mean also AI
This is one of the best indicators of impending economic disaster there is.

Today I felt something new as a vibe coder, indie hacker and Product Manager. After checking in a tricky fix I vibecoded for Product Sensei, I paused before deploying it. The game has about 30 daily active users now. It isn’t much. But they’re my first users. And they matter. These are people who took a chance on the story behind Product Sensei, on me, on my reputation, or just on their curiosity to try something new. I realized I was afraid to break the app for them. Afraid to let them down. At my day job I build products for tens of millions of users. I care deeply there too. But at that scale it can feel abstract. This felt different. Personal. Special. I’m no longer hacking in a vacuum. Breaking things now feels like disrespect. It was an incredible feeling. I just hope it doesn’t mean I need better unit tests, automation, or a safer rollout system. πŸ˜‚

AI decorates like a bachelor
Who knew that staging companies would be the first real estate business segment to be entirely replaced by AI. Virtual staging is a game changer.

Using voice to talk to an LLM is game changer. But I’d like to see an experience where I can speak and type to leverage the best of both worlds. Typing is best for articulating complex thoughts, while speaking is faster for lower cognition tasks.
I Am Voicepilled. A major step forward in human–computer interaction won’t come from bigger models alone, but from how we talk to them, natively, with our voices. More thoughts:

Google/social media filtered what you saw, but the content itself didn’t change. AI can actually reshape the content: tone, style, framing, or delivery so it doesn’t just meet expectations, but aligns with your worldview.

kinda fascinating how the old bubble was passive. you scrolled, the feed optimized for dopamine hits, & you lived inside a reflection of your clicks. this was classic newsfeed. but now the new bubble is active & conversational which means ai mirrors your self concept back to you in words. that’s prolly way way stickier. imagine an infinite ongoing dialogue that validates your entire worldview. the internet turned from filter bubbles (curated information environments) to ego bubbles (curated realities around your identity). that’s a ridiculous step change.

And here’s the kicker. That’s better for companies. They don’t need your 40 hours. They need your 40 decisions. Pay per outcome. Not per time.

AI reduces execution costs. Human judgment becomes the premium product.

Soham fumbled the morals of today. But he might have given us a glimpse of how work will happen in the future.

Everyone is laughing at Soham Parekh. And sure, the memes are great. But look closer and he might be showing us where work is headed: πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡

Soham has reached out. His primary question: β€œAsking this as genuine advice since I do really love what I do, have I completely sabotaged my career? What can I do to improve my situation? I am also happy to come clean” Vox Populi, Vox Dei

Imagine this: You start your day by reviewing a feature spec your AI agent drafted for a fintech startup. Then you prompt strategy slides for a SaaS client. Before coffee, you're approving a design direction for your Shopify side project.

One person could guide workstreams across two or three companies before their first cup of coffee.

AI agents are making it possible to work multiple jobs. Not by cheating. By scaling. AI drafts. It executes. It iterates. You review. You decide. You unblock.

I think sane liberals advocate for equity in opportunity, not equality of outcome.

Vote to protect the American dream of equal opportunity, not a Marxist fantasy of equal outcome.

Feels like @shreyas would suggest asking why Sundar said this: theverge.com/2024/10/29/2428… 1.If Googlers trust their AI for coding, customers should too. 2.Efficiency might mean job cuts soon. 3.Googlers are deep AI experts. 4.If you’re at Google, use AI. What else?
