Charter schools were going to improve Texas education by providing “school choice”…right?
Yet, charter schools failed @teainfo’s 2023 Accountability ratings at significantly higher rates.

Increases to the state’s basic allotment trigger raises for teachers, counselors, librarians, and nurses while also providing more funding for school safety and special education.
It also keeps more local taxpayer money local by reducing recapture.
